About My Way
Author Journey
As an author, I have poured my heart into writing over a dozen books that inspire and educate. My passion for storytelling drives me to connect with readers on a deep level, sharing experiences that resonate worldwide.
For me, Life is like an investment: you get out of it commensurate with what you put in to it.
My walk thru life began in London just past midnight early on Saturday May the tenth in 1947. there was a light rain. It was the tears of the angels for having lost a kindred spirit to to take yet one more walk thru life.
My journey would begin there in St. John’s Wood and take me around the world with stops in Europe, Asia.the Pacific, North, Central and South America, Africa and of course Europe and the Caribbean.
Languages came easily and allowed a deeper appreciation of people and cultures I discovered along the way. English, Spanish, French and German as well a smattering of Russian , Italian, Portuguese and Vietnamese filled my linguistic efforts.
to travel was to experience all that this amazing planet had to offer. Each step was an adventure in the discovery of something new or different to be appreciated and cherished.
Along the way I became a pilot and was able to share what my lovely birds could see every day. My love for animals came early with many dogs, cats, horses and birds as well as Aloacas and squirrels, donkeys and tortoises sharing my walk through life.
The Arts allowed my awe of my surroundings to be expressed. I was fortunate to study photography from the greats and saw my world through a lens with love. Perhaps it was my Great grandfather’s hand that guided my own to put words on paper as an expression of my views of my surroundings on my ever changing walk though life. While books revealed my memories, my dabbling in the make believe world of films allowed me to dream in 3D and escape my reality for a brief and fleeting side trip to a world of make believe. I might be Peter Pan or Wendy all at once.
From TinTin to Baabaa, Dr. Doolittle to Eeaw, the lines of reality and fiction were easily blurred. The memories of yesterday combined with my dreams for tomorrow have made my reality exciting and vibrant for every today along my walk through life.
